» Integrated M.S. in Accounting

The Integrated M.S. in Accounting (MSA) is open to current Chapman University undergraduate students in the B.S. in Accounting Program. The Integrated MSA enables students to begin taking M.S. in Accounting coursework during their senior year and earn a M.S. in Accounting degree within 1-2 terms after finishing their undergraduate studies.

Students may take up to 12 credits of graduate coursework during their senior year, of which 6 credits of graduate classes may double-count towards the 120 credits required for their bachelor's degree. A maximum of 12 credits of graduate coursework taken during their senior year can be applied toward the 30 credits required for the MS in Accounting, allowing for accelerated completion of the MSA.

To accelerate the degree completion, students may enroll in as many as 12 credit hours of graduate classes prior to completion of the bachelor’s degree. A maximum of 6 credit hours of classes may be applied to both the bachelor’s degree and the MSA. Admission into the Chapman Integrated M.S. in Accounting Program is highly competitive. Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, leadership potential, volunteer and internship experience, and communication skills. Program entry may be granted by completion of the following requirements:

Submit the online application in the spring of junior year
Be enrolled at Chapman University and have completed 75 credits or more of undergraduate coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
Submit two letters of recommendation
Complete a personal interview

Contact Grace	My name is Grace Hull and I am an Accelerated MSA alum from Chapman. I also attended Chapman as an undergraduate, where I received a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Accounting. I loved my time at Chapman so much that I decided to stay for my graduate degree. During my senior year I was an accepted into the Accelerated MSA program and I was able to take 3 graduate courses while still completing my undergraduate studies. During my time at Chapman I was involved in The Accounting Society and Delta Delta Delta. I have also had opportunities to do internships in industry accounting as well as public accounting. Upon graduation I began my career at Ernst & Young LLP in Irvine as an Assurance Associate to Senior Associate. I am now a Senior Associate at KPMG.
