Riqué is a student in the joint MBA/MFA in Producing program. She completed her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University studying Media Arts with an emphasis producing and documentary. While in her undergrad she spent time as an associate producer for BYUtv producing short films. Following an internship, RED Digital Cinema offered her a full-time position in Los Angeles, as an education and marketing manager. Riqué also worked for RED’s studio, RED Studios Hollywood, as a production and stage manager. She worked with many clients such as Lionsgate, NBC, Fox, TNT, Warner Bros also spent time in New York City working as RED’s east coast sales manager while managing the flagship retail location. The move to New York launched her career in production managing and she eventually moved to Salt Lake City to work independently in commercial and TV production. Riqué has coordinated commercials for Comcast and Google as well as many independent web advertisements for tech companies. Her time in Utah included being a production coordinator for the TV Show “Studio C” which included a live show featuring SNL’s Kenan Thompson in New York City.

Visual storytelling has been a lifelong passion that Kripa has explored quite dynamically over the span of her 10+ year media career in India, UK and USA. She started out as a TV news journalist and soon progressed to producing scripted and unscripted television shows working with some globally renowned media brands along the way. In her most recent role as Supervising Producer at a premium Digital Content Distributor, she was responsible for developing content and supervising creative teams in script to screen execution of 3 short films. Some of the brands she has been associated with are Quibi, A&E Networks, The History Channel, CNBC-TV18 and CNN International. Keen to grasp the larger business context of Broadcast Entertainment and to stay ahead of the creative curve, she is currently enrolled at Chapman University to pursue a joint MBA-MFA degree in Producing for Film and TV. She expects to graduate in 2020. While at school, she continues to partner with leading Film and Media Brands, part-time.
