Adam Coughran is an industry leader in active shooter education and training for schools and businesses. Adam is a veteran of Southern California law enforcement who utilized his expertise to found Standards Training Group and Safe Kids Inc., organizations dedicated to helping deter crime and mitigate violence. He’s been recognized as one of the “Go-To” experts for national media outlets, appearing on NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, FOX’s Nancy Grace, HLN’s MichaeLA, CBS This Morning, and numerous live interviews.

Kurt is an audit Partner in the Los Angeles office of the EY’s Real Estate, Hospitality and Construction assurance practice. He has spent nearly 20 years in real estate accounting auditing a variety of real estate and construction clients, including real estate brokerage, traded and non-traded REITs, real estate funds, homebuilders, and engineering and construction companies. Kurt is a CPA licensed in California, is a member of the AICPA, and holds a current California real estate broker’s license.

Mark Schauwecker is the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Foundation Building Materials, and leads the team headquartered in Santa Ana, CA. He and his team are responsible for Management Reporting and decision support through long range planning and Operational Analysis to profitably grow the business. Mark has 20+ years of experience in finance, mostly in FP&A and commercial support working cross functionally in organizations to support profitable financial growth.

Alex Hayden focuses on global Corporate Real Estate Advisory Services at CBRE, specializing in portfolio planning and site acquisition transactions on behalf of companies and organizations with diverse and complex real estate portfolios. He is a key leader in the development of strategic planning for the team’s corporate clients and has been the #1 office producer for CBRE’s Newport Beach office since 2015. Hayden currently serves on the University's President's Cabinet; as Chairman of the Board of Counselors for the Argyros School of Business & Economics; and is a Founding Board Member for Chapman's new Master of Science in Real Estate Degree program.

Sinan Kanatsiz has effectively made his mark as an entrepreneur. In 1998, while studying for a master’s degree, Kanatsiz formalized his first company, KCOMM, a Public Relations and Internet marketing agency. The company quickly evolved into a full-service marketing, government affairs and event marketing firm known for its Internet expertise and results-oriented approach. He founded the Internet Marketing Association in 2000, which has a large number of professional members worldwide and its own conference series called “IMPACT”. Additionally, he was the original founder of Generation NeXt in 2004, a network of young business and community leaders committed to making a difference by empowering others for the betterment of the next generation. Kanatsiz was designated Alumnus of the Year by Chapman in 2000.

Matthew has used his industry knowledge and expertise to develop value-added business relationships for Serve First Solutions, Inc. and grow its footprint within the financial services industry. SFS, Inc. specializes in debit and credit card processing for small to mid-market businesses with nearly $2 Billion in electronic transactions annually across the country. The firm has been recognized by the Orange County Business Journal and Inc. 5000 Magazine as one of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in Orange County and the US. Additionally, Matthew recently became the Managing Member of Golden West Tires Centers, an investment and management company focused on acquiring and developing full-service tire service and auto repair facilities.

Casey Kasprzyk '01

A multiple Emmy award-winning producer and songwriter for the most-watched daytime drama series in the world, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Casey Kasprzyk is a 17-year veteran of the show. He signed on to be an intern at the show during his last year at Chapman in 2001 and was hired full time in 2003. He steadily rose within the staff starting in the production office to being named supervising producer in 2014. Kasprzyk holds the distinction of being the only person in the show’s 31-year history credited as producer, director, and writer on the same episode. He has also co-written more than 30 original songs featured on the soap opera. Kasprzyk has been nominated for a total of 21 Daytime Emmys and has won four. In 2011, he shared the show’s “Outstanding Drama Series” win with fellow producers, and then in 2015 & 2016, he went back-to-back with Emmy wins in the “Outstanding Original Song” category by co-writing songs “Hand of Time” and “Lost in Time.” A fourth song win came in 2019 for co-writing, “You’re the One” for the show. Kasprzyk currently serves on Chapman's Board of Governors.
