Biography in Brief:

Originally from Diamond Bar, California, Cailyn graduated from Chapman University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. During her time as an undergraduate student, she was active in multiple philanthropic organizations, such as Lions Club, Relay for Life, and her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, where she served as Vice President of Philanthropy.

After immersing herself in Chapman’s community, she wanted to continue her stay at Chapman as an admission counselor and graduate student. Now she is happy to be helping students find their home at Chapman and maneuver through the college application process!

Advice from Cailyn:

Just be authentic. I love to see your passions, fears, hopes and dreams . . . share that with me! I want to connect with you and know who you are beyond your GPA or test scores. You don’t need to have the “perfect” answers to everything – be you!

Cailyn's Favorite Spot on Campus:

The Attallah Piazza on the large, grassy steps leading up to one of the panther statues. As an undergrad, I spent many afternoons soaking up the beauty of campus while I read a book or met with friends. It was a great space to get away or socialize with classmates on their way to class.

Cailyn’s Best Admission Memory:

Going to my first high school visit. It was so much fun to speak to students about the joys of higher education and share my own experience at Chapman. As a first-generation college student myself, I was also able to relate to and educate other first-generation students on the admission process so that they felt more comfortable.
