Dr. Polly J. Hodge Associate Professor of Spanish Interim Spanish Co-Coordinator
Dr. Polly J. Hodge received her Ph.D. in Spanish at the University of California, Irvine. Currently she serves as Associate Professor of Spanish. She has taught language and literature at the university level since 1990, at UC Irvine and Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Her professional activities include: Associate Director of the bilingual theater journal, Estreno; member of the Advisory Board for Gestos, also a bilingual theater journal; author of many articles in English and Spanish on the interconnection between theater and photography, and drama and literary intertextuality; co-author of the high school Spanish textbook, Bravo III, published in 1996 by Houghton Mifflin.
