20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall

The Fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago (on November 9, 2009) marked the beginning of a new era in history.  It was the end of the Cold War, the beginning of a fully united Europe and proof that peaceful change is possible, even in the moments when it seems most unlikely.

We announce with great pleasure that Chapman University has been chosen as a project partner in the 2009 Freedom Without Walls Campus Weeks by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. Click here to read the German Embassy Press Release!

Only a few universities and colleges across the United States (including Long Beach State and UCLA locally) were selected to join in this huge celebration.

Congratulations to Dr. Karen Gallagher and her team of faculty, students and staff at Chapman University for being awarded this great honor.
