The Chapman Day of Service is an annual day of service open to all Chapman students, faculty, staff, alumni, and families that will take place on Sunday, October 24, 2010 during Homecoming & Family Weekend. This event will provide an opportunity for the Chapman community to conduct multiple service projects at multiple venues within our local community.
Participants will enjoy a kick-off event on campus, divide into groups and provide service to various local sites, and then enjoy a closing celebratory event back on campus with campus and community leaders. At the celebratory event, participants will also be provided with an opportunity to continue their learning about the needs of and service opportunities within our local community through a volunteer fair at the Attallah Piazza. |
