Madrid Summer Internship

Madrid is Spain's capital and the largest city in the country.  Experience the city's charms: a city with a rich cultural heritage and a booming metropolitan area considered to be Spain's headiest.  Chapman students now have the opportunity to intern in this beautiful city for 8 weeks, and earn 3 units toward your degree.  Internship opportunities are in a variety of industries.  Interviews for this program are conducted solely in Spanish.

Who: Juniors and Seniors in any major with language proficiency equivalent to the skills achieved at the end of the 5th semester of college level Spanish.
What: 2 - week intensive Spanish language course at the don Quijote Spanish Language School and a 6 - week professional internship, 4 days a week
When: May 26 - July 24, 2010
Where: Madrid, Spain

London Summer Internship

As a world and European financial and business capital, London attracts businesses from every conceivable sector.  Experience this exciting city by interning for eight weeks with a British organization this summer! You will earn three credits toward your degree, gain a new view of the world and experience the sheer diversity of London life and culture.  The Internship in London program is open to juniors and seniors in all majors.  Internship opportunities are available in communication, marketing, politics, entertainment and the arts.

New Zealand Summer Internship

Experience New Zealand, famous for its breathtaking landscapes, dynamic culture, and dramatic history.  Chapman students now have the opportunity to intern in this beautiful country for 10 weeks in the summer.  You will earn 3-6 units toward your degree as well as gain insight into the world and your career!  Internship opportunities are available in business, communication, education information technology and law, and science and social sciences.

Program includes: Internship placement, housing, cell phone, premium ISIC cards, 2-day orientation.

Who: Juniors and Seniors in any major with a 2.5 GPA or above.
What: 10 - week internship, 4 days a week
When: June 1 - August 13, 2010
Where: New Zealand - Wellington and Auckland (typically)

Australia Summer Internship

Immerse yourself in the environment of Australia and get an intimate view into a country rich in culture and customs. You will earn 3-6 units toward your degree and gain a new view of the world and your career! Internship opportunities are available in business, communication, education, information technology and law, science and social sciences.

Program includes: Internship placement, housing, cell phone, premium ISIC cards, 2-day orientation.

Who: Juniors and Seniors in any major with a 2.5 GPA or above.
What: 10 - week internship, 4 days a week

Where: Cities throughout Southeastern Australia

Cannes Internship Program

Beginning in 2010, students interested in participating in the Cannes Film Festival Internship Program must have completed French 201 prior to departing for France.

Spring semester students benefit from being in Cannes during its world-famous film festival.  Students typically receive a badge that allows them to attend the marche and select screenings.  This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in careers in communications, public relations, business, media or the arts.

This program is available to Chapman students accepted to the Cannes Study Abroad Program.  This is a 2-week, 60+ hours per week internship during the festival.  All program costs are included in the study abroad fees.
