All international students are automatically charged the Chapman University Health Insurance Plan. The cost of the plan is added to the students tuition and fees each semester. If the student has other valid insurance coverage, they may opt out by completing a Health Insurance Waiver . International students have until the third week of the start of the semester to opt out.

Please note students residing in the residence halls are required to purchase a meal plan. (See bottom of this page). When computing the semester Room and Board charge, you must add the room rate to the meal plan rate.

Certain Health Sciences programs are required to have Health Insurance, therefore the University bills health insurance as a part of the registration.
