Activating your Chapman Student Account

  • Shortly after receiving your offer of admission, an email is sent from our Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) department to the email address listed on your application. It outlines how to activate your Student Account and access to my.chapman.edu. If it has been more than two weeks since your acceptance, please contact the IS&T Service Desk at (714) 997-6600 or servicedesk@chapman.edu for this information.
  • You will use this username/password to register online and access your my.chapman.edu student information system. 

Setting up your PantherMail E-mail Account

  • Once you are admitted, all official e-mails from Chapman (including information on your specific registration date and time) will be sent to your Chapman e-mail account.
  • Set up your new e-mail account, using the instructions outlined in the email from our Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) department after being granted admission. 

Important Dates

March 2, 2015

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Financial Aid Processing Due
The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 2. If the priority deadline is not met you may still apply, but funding for certain aid programs may be exhausted. You would be filing the 2015-2016 FAFSA form which covers Fall of 2015 through Spring of 2016.

December 1st and on-going from there 

Transfer Enrollment Deposit Deadline 
You can make the deposit online here or by sending a non-refundable $200 check and completed student enrollment deposit agreement form to the Office of Admission.

Housing Application and Housing Deposit Deadline 
Housing applications must be submitted online and submitted with a non-refundable $50 housing application fee and $600 security deposit. (This deposit is separate from the enrollment deposit.) Applications submitted without an application fee and a housing deposit will not be processed or considered for an assignment. Living on campus is not required of transfers but we will have on campus housing available as well as off campus housing options in Panther Village also available for interested transfer students.

Early December 

Registration Information Letter 
Provides information on summer advising options and course registration. Note: all registration is done online. Transfer Students will have the option of receiving advising online or through one on one in person or phone appointments. We have included a Registration Checklist for your convenience. You must follow the important steps on the checklist to select your advising option and prepare for fall registration. 

You must submit your Enrollment Deposit before you can begin working with the Academic Advising Center.

Spring Semester Billing Statement E-mailed
You will receive a billing statement that details tuition and other charges for the upcoming semester.

Housing Assignment Information and Notification E-mail 
The Housing Assignment information and Notification Email provides students with housing information, which includes their housing assignment, roommates’ names and contact information, and other helpful information to assist students with their move to the residence community.

Mid December and into January 2016

Final Fall semester and/or Fall quarter College Transcripts Due
Final transcripts must include all final grades and proof of completion. Please submit all final transcripts to the Office of Admission.
