Family involvement plays a key role in the academic success of students during their college years. For this reason, Chapman University hosts a family Orientation program that runs concurrently with the student session. Families have the opportunity to interact with faculty, administrators, staff, and student leaders. Participants will learn about the college life, academic programs, the Chapman Parents Association, and how to promote the personal development and academic success of their student.
For further questions, please contact the Orientation staff at 714-516-4600 or orientation@chapman.edu
For many years university departments have distributed handouts for all new students during Check-In. This year, the Orientation Program is striving to become more eco-friendly. Handouts will now be available on this page. Click on the links below to learn more about the different departments on campus and what each has to offer. Please check back often as more will be added frequently.
