Requesting An Assignment Change

Resident students may request an assignment change to another building and/or room at any time during the academic year and for any reason. While The Office of Housing and Residence Life encourages students who may be experiencing roommate conflicts to address these issues with either their Resident Advisor or Resident Director, we understand that students may wish to simply change rooms.

All members of the Housing and Residence Life Professional staff are trained to assist residents with an Assignment Change. Therefore, students can go to whomever they feel most comfortable with to request an assignment change and this individual will be able to walk them through the process.

Please note that while students may request an assignment change at any time and for any reason, the approval of an Assignment Change Request is dependent upon space availability in on-campus housing.
