What Should I Bring?

Even in the most ideal living situations, on-campus living can still make for a crowded situation.  If you’ve never shared a room before, the question of what to bring becomes even more confusing. Think about what you will really need when you get here, and don't bring anything else!  It is also recommended that once you receive your roommate’s name and contact information, you communicate with them to discuss whether you wish to share items such as stereos, televisions, or mini-fridges in order to prevent duplicate items from taking up unnecessary space in the room.

Please use the guide below to help in determining which items to bring to campus. Should you have any questions regarding a specific item, please contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life at 714.997.6603.
