Nature

By Lienda Little

To love this immense jungle of solitude

Walk this quiet, gray journey of reflection

A distinct lonely path; a different latitude

His life to achieve a rational perfection

Time that goes on, dreams he holds on

A myriad of gifts flow from his mind

The brilliant sun lingers at each dawn

Watches over him in his search to find

Life’s true meaning, infinite and profound

A brooding face, sunk in thought and devotion

To all life, a vibrancy of spirit, glorious sound

A breeze, chatter of birds, earthly commotion

Fields run wild and skies ever-changing

Colors bright, vivid, translucent; that embrace

Despite change through seasons this world staying

Transcendent peace from land protects this endless grace
