Complexity

By Lienda Little

The irony in his complex mind

Words cannot express thoughts that intertwine

Ideology, his life, enough to leave the world behind

His beliefs are logical, yet he looks for a sign

Among the stars, his soul belongs to mystery

Amidst the darkness of night’s fire he appears

This magnificent mind shapes the face of history

He tries to erase the wrong, take away the fears

In a veil, this man is unseen, so sacred

To strive, to seek, his thinking, his wisdom

Yet, not all can be given, not all can be said

Deserving to possess separateness, some

Under the shield of formality and grace

His meditation, unreachable gem shines

Virtues and values his ambition to trace

In the enigma of the man for all times
