Risk Management

Risk Management operates as a department within the Office of the Vice President of Finance and CFO.  The operations of this department are directed by Allan F. Brooks, CPCU, ARM who serves as University Risk Manager.  Mr. Brooks is supported by Karen Swift, Chapman’s Environmental Health & Safety Specialist.

Key work of this Department includes identifying, evaluating, and controlling loss exposures faced by the University.  Our goal is to minimize the adverse effects of unpredictable events. Our work is a team effort, done by educating and empowering the entire University community on relevant issues.
