Eligibility
Chapman University students who meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:
- Cumulative GPA - 3.0 (for ALL programs)
- Class standing:
- Sophomore, junior or senior level (while abroad)
Junior or Senior level is required for internship-focused programs
Keep in mind that factors other than academics, such as references and personal interview, are also taken into consideration when assessing a student's potential for study abroad. Some programs may have additional requirements.
Students may apply to ISEP programs for an academic year. Only ISEP programs offer academic year abroad options.
Students who have previously studied abroad through Chapman University on a Partner or Affiliate prgram will be eligible to study abroad for a second time on a space available basis, and have lower priority than academic year applicants. Students can participate on multiple exchange programs in consecutive or non-consecutive semesters.
