• Attend the Study Abroad Fair to learn about the different programs.
• When you have decided on a specific program, you may apply online through the Global Gateway site.

Deadlines

Applications are accepted throughout September and October for the following fall/academic year term and throughout February and March for the following spring term.  Please contact us for the specific deadlines each term.

Eligibility

Chapman University students who meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:

• Cumulative GPA - 3.0 (for ALL programs)
• Class standing:

  Sophomore, junior or senior level (while abroad)
  Junior or Senior level is required for internship-focused programs

Keep in mind that factors other than academics, such as references and personal interview, are also taken into consideration when assessing a student's potential for study abroad. Some programs may have additional requirements.

Students are strongly encouraged to study abroad for an academic year. Additionally, students can participate on multiple exchange programs in consecutive or non-consecutive semesters.
