The Concern

Statistics show that amongst the population of wealthy families, factors including the breakdown of communication, lack of trust, fear, and unpreparedness all contribute significantly to the loss of family wealth. As a result, only 30% of families are successful in preserving their family wealth and only 10% are successful in preserving their family owned businesses for more than three generations. This timeless problem has been encapsulated in proverbs across the world:

"Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations" – U.S.;

"Wealth never survives three generations" – China;

"From clogs to clogs in three generations" – U.K.;

"From the stable to the stars and back to the stables" – Italy

Program Purpose

We provide an environment of continual learning and practice within a community of like-minded people to help educate current and future family leaders. The ultimate goal is to address the concerns of successful families, including family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, financial security, and family business and wealth succession. We aim to empower families to thrive across multiple generations and enable a majority of family businesses to succeed for longer than three generations.
