Attempted Sexual Assault
DATE & TIME OF OCCURRENCE: October 25, 2006 at approximately 2:40PM
LOCATION: 191 N. Orange St. (Presbyterian Church Lot)
REPORTED OFFENSE: An unknown male grabbed victim from behind; victim struggled and fought off suspect. Suspect fled on bicycle in unknown direction. Victim called OPD via 911 and a search of the area was completed with negative results.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION (provided by complainants): Male Hispanic; Early 20’s; 5’8”; Medium Build; Moustache; Brown Medium length hair; White T-Shirt;
WEAPON USED: None Seen
SUSPECT VEHICLE: Bicycle; NFD

REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Criminals do not want to be seen or heard. For that reason they rarely commit crime in front of law enforcement officers. We rely on the community to contact us when suspicious persons or activities occur. We would much rather respond and not be needed than to not be called when something could have been prevented. Trust your instincts; if something does not feel right, it probably isn’t.
