Important: Resident Check-Out Information
Resident students must check out 24 hours after their last final or by 5pm on Friday, May 18, whichever comes first. If your student has a final on Friday, they can request for a Saturday, May 19 check-out time. Graduating students must vacate by 12 noon on Monday, May 21. All students must go through a check-out process that requires removing all belongings from the room as well as thorough cleaning of the student’s room and bathroom. Residence life staff will have to inspect and approve the room before your student can check out, express check out appointments can avoid this step but it also means that you will not have the opportunity to contest damages. Students will be charged for any additional cleaning that needs to be done after check-out as well as any damages. If you plan on coming to campus to help your student during move-out, we suggest that you refrain from bringing pets and/or small children because it only adds to the confusion. The results from last months polling question are now available to view so you can see what other parents have to say about the check-out process. View Results. Check back for future updates on checking out at Residence Life.

Summer Storage Options
For out of area students, there are many storage options. You might consider Valet Today Campus a full service shipping, storage, and delivery vendor. Most facilities even offer specials and discounts to Chapman students.
