Getting InvolvedParents CouncilThe Chapman Parents Council is a network of parents who are committed to the well-being and advancement of the university. It provides parents with increased opportunities to meet and get to know other parents, as well as faculty, staff, trustees, students and alumni. Parents play a vital role in the life of the university and the Parents Council provides a meaningful and enjoyable way for parents to become active members of the Chapman family. Parent GivingEvery gift counts, and giving to Chapman University means making an investment in the future. Chapman Students dare to dream big, and every gift to the university helps make these dreams come true. Every gift, no matter what the size, can make an impact on the lives of students and add value to a Chapman degree. Chapman also has numerous support and giving groups that actively work to raise funds for student scholarships, sponsor events, and provide service. Yet another way to contribute to the future of the university is by school-based development. Each undergraduate school houses a development officer to support the unique fundraising efforts of the individual school. Learn More about giving options at Chapman. Summer Welcome ReceptionsDuring the summer months parents, current students and alumni welcome new Chapman students and their families to the university at informal regional receptions hosted in Chapman family homes. They are a great way for incoming Chapman parents and students to meet and network before school starts. The Chapman Family is eager to share their experiences with new students and parents, and it's a perfect opportunity to get questions answered by individuals who have gone through the Chapman experience firsthand.
