Getting Involved

The Chapman experience is for parents too! Together with faculty, staff and alumni Chapman parents are key members of our extended family.

Chapman Parents Council

The Chapman Parents Council is a network of parents who are committed to the well-being and advancement of the university. It provides parents with increased opportunities to meet and connect with other parents, support the university, and contribute their time, talent, and resources to benefit their students. The Council and its three committees serve as liaisons between the university and Chapman parents in partnership with the Parent Relations Office.

Parent Meetings

The Chapman Parent Relations Office and the Chapman Parents Council invite you to attend Parent Meetings, which are held twice a year (fall and spring). These meetings provide opportunities for parents to hear important University updates, participate in workshops, meet with representatives from student services, and much more! Our goal is to ensure that these Parents Meetings are both informative and helpful to you as a parent of a Chapman student.

Parents Council Committees

Ambassador Committee
The Ambassador Committee is a great way to get to know the Chapman community. Parents who live locally are especially encouraged to volunteer.
Join this committee to serve students and families by serving as hosts and greeters at university events, planning and participating in University events.

Outreach and Networking Committee
At Chapman, engagement and connections are vital. Help us create a parent network to serve the Chapman community for both students and their parents by identifying parents’ interests and activities as well as their expertise and resources. Work with other parents from your region by establishing a network of Chapman connections for current and prospective families across the country. Be part of a campus wide initiative to provide internship opportunities for student and alumni.

Annual Giving Committee
Parents play an important role at Chapman through their support of and involvement in their student’s education. A vital way you can support the university and its mission is by giving to The Chapman Fund.
