Advertising

The Panther publishes about 2,500 copies weekly during the fall and spring semesters. The newspaper is distributed on the Chapman University campus and law school every Monday.

It is a reliable way to effectively target Chapman in your advertising campaign. Advertising in The Panther offers a unique opportunity for both national and local advertisers to reach to the Chapman community, which not only includes students, faculty and administrators, but the surrounding community as well.

General Information

The Panther assumes no responsibility of typographical errors or omissions in copy.

Errors in copy must be brought to the attention of the advertising manager immediately on receipt of checking copy.

The Panther is not responsible for more than one incorrect insertion.

Liability will not exceed the cost of the space.

Cancellation must be made 7 days prior to publication by 5 p.m.

All ads should be digitally designed, if this is not possible, please contact the advertising manager. We prefer ads in PDF, Quark, Word, EPS, or JPEG formats.

Payment / Credit

5% DISCOUNT FOR PRE-PAYMENT

Accounts that are not pre-paid, and more than $250.00 in total cost, must have at least 25% of the total payment paid to The Panther before half of the advertisements have run or ads will be held.

If payment is not received within 90 days of the invoice date, the account will be turned over to Chapman University Collections Department.

All ads are subject to design fees if not properly formatted.

Design Fees: Panther staff will provide design service upon request. Design fees are determined by the designer, based on time spent.

All advertisements must be accompanied by a signed insertion order. Signature to the insertion order makes the signed party and the entity it represents responsible for the terms above.

For accounts not pre-paid, invoices will be sent out.

Publication Schedule

The Panther is distributed on Mondays during the fall and spring semesters. Below is the publication schedule for the fall semester of the 2006-2007 school year. The Panther and its managerial staff reserve the right to amend this schedule at any time.
