Sean M. Bigley (J.D., Chapman Law) teaches courses in criminology and law. His research focus is national security, with a primary emphasis on espionage. Outside of teaching, Professor Bigley is also a practicing attorney who represents members of the armed forces, government employees, and defense contractors in federal security clearance cases.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Professor Bigley served under President George W. Bush in The White House and at The Department of Homeland Security. He was also a decorated municipal police officer and, most recently, an investigator for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
