Peter Westenhofer is a graduate of the B.F.A. program at Chapman University.  Most recently, he was seen as John Proctor in The Crucible at Mysterium, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors at Performance Riverside, Feste in Twelfth Night for Shakespeare Orange County, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls for Curtain Call Dinner Theater, and Sam Byck in Assassins at Orange Coast College.  Locally, he has performed with Fullerton Civic Light Opera, Saddleback Civic Light Opera, Laguna Playhouse, Costa Mesa Playhouse, Main Street Players, Orange Curtain Theater, and Son of Semele Ensemble.  Some of Peter’s film credits include “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” and “Sister Act II.”

Adept both on and off the stage, he is an accomplished director, choreographer, and instructor for various performing arts venues throughout Orange County.   Peter has also worked for South Coast Repertory, Universal Pictures, HBO Pictures, the American College Theatre Festival, California Education Theatre Association (CETA), and The Groundlings.

At Chapman, Peter supervises the day-to-day operations in the Conservatory of Music, ranging from facilities issues to event scheduling.
