Janice Park, D.M.A.

Janice Park, D.M.A., received degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Chapman University.  She has been a faculty member at the Pasadena Conservatory of Music and an Assistant Lecturer at USC.  Dr. Park has received numerous honors and awards including First Place at the Finals of the California Association of Music Teachers Bartok Competition.  She also teaches at Irvine Valley College and is a member of MTNA, MTAC, and Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.  She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Musical Arts Club of Orange County.  Over  the years she has judged several piano competitions and auditions.  Her article on how to teach piano students was published in the piano magazine, Keyboard Companion.
