Paul Manaster, B.M. Instructor, Violin
Paul Manaster, instructor of violin, is the Associate Concertmaster of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. His previous orchestral positions include the first violin sections of the San Antonio Symphony and the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, and the principal second violin position of the Winters Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Albuquerque. He has also performed as Concertmaster with the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, the Riverside Philharmonic and the Indian Wells Desert Symphony. He has performed as part of the Pacific Symphony's chamber music series, and was a member of San Antonio's new music chamber ensemble SOLI. Mr. Manaster received a Bachelor's degree in Violin Performance from Northwestern University. For four years he held the position of adjunct professor of violin at Trinity University in San Antonio. |
