Pamela Blanc is a Senior Teacher of the Alexander Technique. She received her certification in 1979 from the American Center for the Alexander Technique in San Francisco and continued her studies with the following Alexander Technique teachers:  Marjorie Barstow, Patrick Macdonald, Walter & Dilys Carrington, Marjory Barlow, and Peggy Williams, all of who studied with Mr. F.M. Alexander.

Ms. Blanc travels around the country and internationally giving Master Classes and teaching the Alexander Technique to performers.  In addition to teaching in the Conservatory of Music at Chapman University, she is also teaching at California State University, Northridge, and has been on faculty with Opera Works since 2000.   She has taught in the UCLA Music Department, the USC Theater School, UCLA Extension, The Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute, and The International Festival of Movement and Dance on the Volga in Yaroslavl, Russia. 

Ms. Blanc has a private practice in West Los Angeles, is a Founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles, overseeing Continuing Education Programs for Alexander Technique Teachers at ATI-LA.  She is an active member of the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSat) and serves as Chair of the Training Directors Committee.
