Dr. Paul Sherman is deeply involved in many levels of the musical world as performer, conductor and concert production.

Along with his work with the Chapman University Wind Symphony, he is Music Director and conductor of the Santa Clarita Youth Orchestras and Foundation, Executive Director of ensemble green (an ensemble promoting west coast new music) and a very active performer on modern and period oboes. He performs with ensemble green, Santa Fe Pro Musica, Grammy Award-winning Southwest Chamber Music, Jealous Nightingale Baroque, and many orchestras.

As a teacher he directs the period oboe band at USC and teaches history and performance classes for College of the Canyons and Glendale Community College. His education experience includes the California Institute of the Arts and University of Southern California.
