Lisa Maresch has performed across the United States as both a solo pianist and collaborator. She was the winner of the Eisteadford Competitions at the Sydney Opera House, the Bolognini Competition, the Silver State Competition, and the Dan Stover Rotary Competitions. She was also the James K. Huntzinger Competition Grand Prize Winner, and competed in the Southwest Regional Division in Honolulu, Hawaii, in the “Young Artists” Competition of MTNA. She has performed concerti with the UNLV Symphony Orchestra, the Las Vegas Civic Symphony, the Henderson Civic Symphony, and the Las Vegas Academy Orchestras. Other performance credits include chamber works in “the Nextet” new music ensemble with composer Virko Baley, and a regular on the UNLV Faculty Chamber Players. Lisa was also a special guest with the Las Vegas Wind Quintet in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Arizona Musicfest in Scottsdale, Arizona, and performs frequently on the Faculty Concert Series at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in San Juan Capistrano, California.

Her festival credits include the International Keyboard Institute at the Mannes School in New York, the Round Top International Music Festival, a teaching assistant at the Brevard Music Festival, staff pianist for the Quartet Program with Charles Castleman, the Viola Workout with Robert Becker, Arrowbear Music Festival, and the Las Vegas Music Festival; she has had coachings with musicians such as Anne Epperson, Robert McDonald, Mischa Dichter, and Daniel Pollock, and collaborated with artists such as Brian Lewis, Andre Emelianoff, and the members of the Diaz Trio. In addition, she has been staff pianist for MTNA Southwest Regional Competition, The Actors Repertory Theater, both the UNLV Theater and Music Department, The Phoenix Boys Choir, and Herberger College for Kids at Arizona State University, as well as touring and recording with New-Age Artist “Giovanni.”

Lisa is an alumni of the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts, and holds a B.M. and M.M. in piano performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As the “Outstanding Graduate Student” of the Music Department of 2005 at UNLV, she presented a lecture on Janacek’s piano music. She studied with Carol Stivers, James Giles, and Mykola Suk.
