Paul J. Raheb '88Paul J. Raheb is in his tenth year as Director of Choral Activities at Golden West High School in Visalia. Mr. Raheb is currently pursuing his Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree in Music Education at Boston University. Mr. Raheb received his Masters of Music Degree in Vocal Performance and Conducting from the University of Nevada, Reno, where he graduated with high honors. He received his Bachelor of Music Degree in Conducting from Chapman University in Orange, California. Mr. Raheb is an active vocal artist,, voice teacher, adjudicator-clinician, and guest conductor throughout the Western United States and Europe. He is also an active member of several professional music educators associations including the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), California Association for Music Education (CMEA), Tulare-Kings County Music Educators Association (TKMEA), and Music Educators National Conference (MENC). Mr. Raheb has had the privilege to work and study with such musical greats as Eric Whitacre, Morten Lauridsen, Paul Salamunovich, William Hall, David Conte, Dennis Schrock, Donald Brinegar, and Bruce Mayhall. Mr. Raheb is an alumnus of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. In addition to his duties at Golden West, Mr. Raheb is on the vocal faculty at the College of the Sequoias and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Western Division American Choral Directors Association. He resides in Visalia and is the proud father of his courageous daughter Madison, inquisitive son Elijah and their two FAT cats Allegro and Sonata. |
