Giacomo Puccini Bust Unveiled to Commemorate the
Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco Chair in Italian Studies

Chapman University President James Doti hosts the celebration for the establishment of the Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco Chair in Italian Studies.  The Giacomo Puccini bust, by sculptor Juan Rosillo (far right), is surrounded by Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco.  Pat and Mary Dirk presented the bust as a gift to Chapman University.

President James Doti admires the portrait of Giacomo Puccini presented by artist Juan Rosillo, to Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco.  The ceremony celebrated the unveiling of the Puccini bust located at the Chapman University Conservatory of Music (www.chapman.edu/music).

A traditional alfresco Italian meal celebrating the Sebastian Paul and Marybelle Musco Chair in Italian Studies was hosted by Chapman University President James Doti.  A selection of Puccini arias were performed by Chapman opera students from The Conservatory of Music (www.chapman.edu/music) in the Salmon Recital Hall at Bertea Hall.
