Ensemble-in-Residence
2008-2009 Academic Year

ensemble GREEN is dedicated to the performance of the music of today.

As an Ensemble-in-Residence for 2008-2009, ensemble GREEN will provide the following services:

• Performance by ensemble GREEN (February 7, 2009 @ 5pm)
• Woodwind Quintet Master Class (March 13, 2009 @ 2pm)
• Strings Master Class (March 27, 2009 @ 2pm)
• Writing for Winds, Percussion Workshop (April 23, 2009 @ 4:30pm)
• Reading of Student Composer’s Work (May 10, 2009 @ 10am)

In their performances, the ensemble intertwines the musical world of seminal 20th Century composers with innovative works of living west coast composers.

ensemble GREEN members are all active in the Los Angeles musical community, and the ensemble offers them the chance to break out of their conventional molds and champion the music of our community.  You are invited to visit their concert page and attend one of the finest and freshest musical experiences in LA.
