The Stanley Mosk Inn of Phi Delta Phi was the installed on April 11, 2002 at Chapman University School of Law. The Stanley Mosk Inn is the 194th Inn of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, the largest legal fraternity in North America. Phi Delta Phi itself outdates the American Bar Association, having been formed in 1869 by four law students at the University of Michigan who united with the goal of changing the public perception of the legal profession. The Stanley Mosk Inn's goal is to facilitate professional and ethical growth amongst students and practitioners of law while providing social opportunities for members. The Stanley Mosk Inn of Phi Delta Phi is the preeminent legal fraternity at Chapman Law. The total initiated membership of PDP exceeds 191,000 persons. More judges, American Presidents, governors, senators, representatives, Cabinet members, ambassadors, ABA Presidents, and law school Deans have come from the ranks of Phi Delta Phi than any other legal fraternity, including: MEMBERSHIP First year students are eligible to participate in all public Inn activities and can be initiated following the posting of first semester grade |

Justice Mosk served on the California Supreme Court for a record 37 years and wrote a number of influential decisions, including Bakke. In addition, Justice Mosk served as Attorney General.
