Legal Analysis WorkshopThe Legal Analysis Workshop, a three unit, graded course, will focus on the analysis and drafting of legal documents commonly prepared during the first few years of law practice and tested on the California Bar Exam, including memoranda, briefs, correspondence, declarations, separate statements in support of motions for summary judgment/adjudication, discovery plans, and written discovery. The course will also focus on the identification of client issues and the use of case precedent to predict the outcome of client problems. Enrollment in this course is limited to third and fourth year students. A maximum of 16 students will be admitted. There will be a 3 hour final examination. Several graded and/or ungraded midterms may also be administered.
