Catalog Year 2009 and beyond

Full time to Part time:  Students moving to the part time program will not retain their scholarship.

Part time to Full time:  Students who rank in the top 10% of their class and transfer to the full time program, will earn a merit scholarship based on the chart below.

(For scholarship purposes, rankings are rounded up to the next highest whole percent.)

Scholarships will not be provided to students who are enrolled in fewer than 8 credits hours per semester. 

Catalog Year 2007 and before

Full time to Part time: "percentage of tuition" scholarship may be applied to part-time tuition charges with approval from scholarship committee.

Part time to Full time: Part time scholarship amount (not percentage) can be applied to full time tuition.

Scholarships will not be provided to students who are enrolled in fewer than 8 credit hours per semester.

Leave of Absence

Students who are granted a leave of absence for a full academic year will not be allowed automatically defer their scholarship.  Students may submit a letter of request to defer their scholarship to the Law Financial Aid Office.  The student will be notified once the Scholarship Committee has approved/denied the request.
