 Loan Acceptance and Application Process
New Students You must select a lender and complete a loan application for your Stafford, Graduate PLUS and Private loans. You may choose the same lender for all loans or a different lender for each. Please review the Lender Information Page to assist you in selecting a lender from our preferred lender list. If you wish to apply for a loan through a lender not listed here, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
- For Stafford Loans - In addition to the online loan application, all new students will need to complete Stafford and Graduate PLUS Loan Entrance Counseling.
- For Private Loans - you should choose a lender and complete their application process.
- For Perkins Loans - please log on to WebAdvisor and follow the Perkins instructions.
- For Graduate PLUS or Private Loans - you should choose a lender and complete their application process
Returning Borrowers
- To receive your Stafford Loan funds you don't need to do anything. Your Stafford Loans will be requested for you. If you wish to reduce your loan amount, please log on to WebAdvisor and select "Change my requested loan amount."
- If you wish to apply for a private loan, please contact your lender and complete their application process.
- If you wish to change your lender, please visit the Lender Information Page and complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) with your new lender.
