Students and professionals serving or planning to serve today’s businesses and entrepreneurs must approach modern day business building with a flexible mindset and diverse understanding of contemporary business practices designed to accommodate limitless growth and expansion. This Symposium will take students and professionals from the formation of a modern business to the various exit strategies available at the end of the business’s lifecycle, along the way considering various topics such as methods for capitalization, survival, expansion, and mergers and acquisitions. The goal of this Symposium is to expand the knowledge currently possessed by students and professionals of modern business building so that business and legal practitioners may better serve their client’s contemporary needs.

Chapman University is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider and certifies that this activity has been approved for MCLE credit in the amount of 5 general MCLE credits.
