Three Law Professors Honored at University Faculty Awards Ceremony

The Law School had a big day at the University-wide Faculty Awards ceremony on May 8, 2008, where the following faculty members were recognized:

• Scott Howe received the Valerie Scudder Award, recognition for excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
  
• Nancy Schultz received a Faculty Excellence Award for Service, recognition for her tireless efforts on behalf of our competition teams.
  
• Tom Bell received a Faculty Excellence Award for Scholarship, recognition for the strong number of highly-placed articles he has published.

Congratulations to each professor, and to our other nominees – Katherine Darmer for the Scudder Award, Ernesto Hernandez for a Faculty Excellence Award for Scholarship, and Marisa Cianciarulo for a Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching – whose efforts on behalf of the School of Law undoubtedly made for some tough decision-making by the Awards Committee.
