A travel course is a short-term study abroad experience. These courses taught by Chapman University faculty take place during summer or interterm and include a 1-4 week travel portion. See application process for information on how and when to register for a travel course.
Travel course participation fees are the expenses of the travel course and do not include Chapman University tuition.
All travel courses outside the United States are approved for the global study portion of the 2007 GE program.

Summer travel course information will be available at the beginning of the spring semester. Summer travel course deposits are due in March. Travel course participation fees charged for a travel course do not include Chapman University tuition. Students may be eligible for a tuition waiver for their participation in a summer travel course. Click here for more information on tuition waiver.

Interterm Travel Course information will be available at the beginning of the fall semester. Interterm travel course deposits are due in October. Participation fees charged for a travel course do not include Chapman University tuition. Undergraduate students who are registered full-time in both the fall and spring semesters (12 units taken in each semester is considered full-time for undergraduate students) may take up to four units during interterm at no charge. Graduate students will need to check their program fees and how they apply for travel courses.
