Honors Program Does Denver

Twenty Honors students were selected by the Western Regional Honors Council to present research at the annual conference in Denver, March 2-5. Themeetings were attended by Honors students, faculty and administrators from throughout the Western region of the United States. "The Chapman Honors students delivered informed and polished presentations that generated interest by those in attendance. They were wonderful ambassadors for Chapman University," said Dr. Pat See, professor of sociology and director of the University Honors Program. Also attending was Dr. Virginia Carson, professor of biological sciences and director of the W.M. Keck Center for Science Education, who oversaw research by 11 of the students from her Honors class "In Search of Knowledge." |
