Honors Fall Retreat -- Sept. 7-9, 2007

As usual, a few carloads got temporarily lost while trying to make it up the mountain to the Honors Retreat at Camp Whittle in the San Bernardino mountains. But everyone eventually made it and settled in to enjoy a yummy pasta dinner cooked by Chandler Garbell. The Friday night dinner in Wagner Lodge was a great addition we hope to continue in future years. The weekend highlight was the talent show, which seems to get better every year. Talent and laughs shared the stage for a great Saturday night. Other activities included ropes, meditation, Ikebana, campfires, soul collages, scary stories and s'mores. talent was lurking inside all those Honors students. Our thanks to the student retreat committee for putting together such a great weekend.
