Fall 2003 Distinguished Honors Lecturer Matthew Schneider, Ph.D. October 29, 2003
The Chapman University Honors Lecture is given annually by a faculty member, who, upon nomination by the faculty as a whole, is selected by the University Honors faculty. Recipients are chosen on the basis of a consistent record of scholarly and creative achievement and are provided an opportunity to offer a public presentation on a topic that reflects the honoree’s scholarly or creative interests. Because the person is chosen by colleagues, it is a great honor to be nominated, and, moreover, to be selected as the Distinguished Honors Lecturer.
