4+1 BS MS Food Science Program
Chapman and non-Chapman students can apply to the MS program in the fall of their senior year. Students will receive conditional admission to the program, pending completion of their BS degree as stipulated in the graduate catalog (see explanation of conditional admission in the graduate catalog). If accepted to the MS program, students can take up to 12 credits in MS 500-level courses during the spring semester of their senior year. Credits that are used to satisfy the undergraduate requirements for graduation will not double-count towards the MS program and will have to be replaced by other food science coursework. Students would complete the remaining credit hours of MS coursework beginning in the summer after receiving the undergraduate degree. The application process, prerequisites, GPA, and graduate program requirements are as specified for the MS program in Food Science. |
