February 13, 2008 Seminar - "Career Management for Leaders"

It's Time to Take Charge of Your Career

John Hall led this session to show participants how to reach their career potential. Being "smart" isn't enough: emotional intelligence is essential to maintain job satisfaction. He advised professionals and managers to spend 20% of their time in areas beyond their job expectations so that they can add value to their job, get noticed, and be active in their own career planning. Participants were taught to analyze their industry, economic trends, targeted organizations, and to create a personal mission statement.
