December 12, 2007 – Organizational Networking Over 40 leaders from a wide variety of Orange county businesses joined instructor Karen Carlsen in a festive holiday atmosphere to learn firsthand how to build and maintain key relationships both inside and outside their organizations.
Karen facilitated some lively discussions about “What is networking?”, “What are some of the reasons we don’t network?”, “The benefits of networking” and “Good places to develop business connections.” The group got to immediately practice the strategies they learned as they met new people and developed and shared their personal “30 second commercials.” Participants left with tools and tips to help them overcome resistance, feel comfortable talking with strangers, “break the ice” in social situations, and get out there and NETWORK!
