September 12, 2007 - Emotional Intelligence

Over 65 leaders from a variety of Orange County corporations, small businesses, public agencies, and educational institutions joined instructors Linda Denton and Liz Barbour in an interactive seminar on Emotional Intelligence. It was largest turn-out to date for Leadership NOW.

Participants learned how critical personal and social competence is to effective leadership and identified EI grounded behaviors that could improve working relationships. After discussing case studies of leaders exhibiting both strong and weak EI in business situations, participants developed a personal action plan for increasing their “emotional quotient.”
