May 9, 2007 Seminar - "Business Coaching"

The Impact of Coaching in Organizations

45 leaders from a wide variety of Orange County companies joined instructors Nahid Casazza and Pattie Sobczak at Washington Mutual’s Irvine Learning and Conference Center to learn the importance of business coaching to organizational leadership, team effectiveness, and interpersonal communication. The two-hour session was highly interactive and participants got the chance to role-play as both coach and "coachee" using a seven step "coaching script" while working on an actual business problem. This seminar was a preview of the new certificate program “Coaching Skills for Business Leaders” being offered in October 2007.

Rave Reviews

“The facility was excellent. The content was very meaningful and the process was very effective. I was forced to think about specific business challenges and ways to deal with them. I learned some new ideas about coaching others and will pursue further training as a coach.”  Phil LeBlanc, TopLine Staffing

“The seminar provided great perspective and useful tools in a short, concise format. I particularly liked the coaching script – very useful.”  Bruce Sobczak, Printronix Inc.

“I appreciate the training material giving me the ability to address core issues and create positive courses of action I can begin to implement today. I am excited about taking this information back to my department and sharing it with my employees.” Emily Porter, The Irvine Company
