Academic ProgramsThe Department of Dance offers two degree programs designed to foster the artistic and academic goals and abilities of each student. The Bachelor of Arts degree requires completion of 46 credits and allows students to explore electives in other disciplines or to pursue double majors. The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is designed for students committed to pursuing careers as professional performers and/or choreographers. The BFA requires more concentrated study with the completion of 65 credits. Each of these degrees provides excellent preparation for those students planning to attend graduate school.
