Food Science College Bowl Team Wins Regional ChampionshipThe Chapman University Food Science College bowl team of Emily Doti, Latha Murugesan, Shannon Ruelle, James Stalling, Natasha Fazel, team captain Danae Lucas and team coordinator and advisor Lilian Were, Ph.D. is the 2009 Mountain West Institute of Food Technologist Student Association (IFTSA) Regional Winner! The Chapman team won each round and beat out Brigham Young, Utah State, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and Cal Poly Pomona to emerge victorious. The team will now compete in the National IFTSA College Bowl competition in Anaheim this June against seven other teams from across the country. Congratulations!
