Chapnet Accounts and E-Mail

All new students are issued accounts on Chapnet by the Information Systems and Technology Department. These accounts can be used to access email, as well as other Chapnet services. To access your account you will need to know your UserID and your Password. Your user ID and password are case sensitive, so you must type them exactly as they are given to you, including the use of upper and lower case.

If your UserID is, for example smith140, then other users on Chapnet can send email to you by sending it to smith140, but users from other institutions will need to use your complete email address, which in this case would be smith140@chapman.edu. This is the way your email address should be given out to other people.

In case you have forgotten or never recieved your UserID and Password you may go to the Chapman Help Desk in the basement of Leatherby Library. Present your student ID to any Help Desk staff member to obtain the information.

Please note: You will need to make a network connection if you want to use a browser application such as Microsoft Ineternet Explorer or Netscape Communicator. Please read through the appropriate dialup instructions.
